Arrival (2016) If you saw your life from the beginning to the end, would you change anything? Schooling had to stop when the school bell rang after news of strange objects appearing in many places around the world. While each government cooperated to investigate the strange object, many believed that it was an alien ship floating motionless above the ground, more than 1,500 feet high. There were 12 ships parked and scattered around the world.
Colonel Weber traveled to see Doctor Louise Banks to ask for help translating messages from aliens. Before she was invited to help translate the alien language, Colonel Weber's first goal was to find the answer: What do the aliens want? Where did they come from? How did they get there?
Louise Banks had to work with Doctor Ian Donnelly. Both arrived at the operation point with the alien ship floating far away. Before being taken to check the physical condition before starting the work. Shortly after, both of them and the soldiers traveled to the alien ship. The ship's door opened automatically before everyone got on the ship.
Doctor Louise was excited to meet the aliens for the first time. But they could only stand and communicate as if they were in different rooms with a large glass panel in between. The aliens communicate with humans in the Heptapod language, so it took time to translate the meaning. After getting off the ship, everyone must help analyze and decode to find the answer from the meaning obtained from the communication with the aliens before Louise and Ian go back to the ship again and do something that no one has ever done before. And that makes Louise see the future that is about to happen. It is a weapon that the aliens want to pass on to humans.
